There are many Islamic Charities around and the majority of them are doing real good work especially the mainstream ones like Islamic relief and Muslim aid. There are also others like Islamic Help and ummah welfare trust who are doing exceptional work also.

 The are not just helping Muslims they are helping humanity doing the humanitarian work that is needed in this world today.

Some examples of work that is going are

• Sponsor a water pump. many villages in developing countries from around the world are suffering from a shortage of water. You can sponsor a water pump for as little as £100 and your name can even be put a plaque if that is what you wish. This can be so help full to villages and Inshallah you will be rewarded by Allah swt every time someone has so much as a sip.
• Sponsor a water well. similar to the water pump but just as effective supplying water to those in need.
• Sponsor an orphan. There a millions of orphans over the world and they are all in need. You can sponsor an orphan for a small amount not just to help the orphan but the whole family will benefit from this deed. 
• Help acid attack victims. there are many women who suffer from domestic violence but they are also being attacked with acid. there are many charities who actually pay for the surgery of those have been victimized by acid attacks. You can imagine how important that surgery might be to someone as it is a traumatizing experience.
